This is an odd little rant post...
But here it is.
I don't know if it's the birth control still making me all emotional-y (its still working its way out of my system i believe) or the fact that no matter how many people say I'm beautiful some days I just don't see it....but well.
For whatever reason for the past week I've been convinced that I have a mustache LOLLL. Now given: for the past year or two I used to pick at my upper lip with tweezers out of a weird hairlessness habit that I had, probably due to some stupid boy making a comment to me at one point in my life. Which is utterly silly honestly because the hair on my face is so translucent and blonde. But regardless I would pick at my lil peach fuzz.
I've decided to stop recently because I've read a few places that it could make it worse then constantly picking at it and if you pick too much and too far out that you'll eventually have a full on Heraldo mustache. (And I read the opposite- that it makes it thinner. But why take the chance if it's not super noticable. XD) Which honestly makes sense. You remove hair it grows back. So I stopped and maybe because I'm so used to it being completely bare there that it's odd to me seeing litlte blonde hairs, or maybe the years of tweezing did make it slightly prominent, but I was swearing there was something there.
But at the same time I'm thinking in my head, woman, you do not even have EYEBROWS. That's how light your facial hair is. You know women bleach that shit because they're dark-haired with noticable lip hair? So what if you have some tiny blonde furr on your face.
seriously me as of 20 seconds ago.  not even a tiny one visible. in the right lighting you see it but honestly...
And I sat and thought about why we're so obsessed with hair removal. I was facing a mini dilemna should i continue picking at it like a psycho, like the rest of the world, possibly making it more noticable over time or leave it go and just admit this is how a real woman looks.
Rob yelled at me, "WILL YOU STOP OBSESSING, THEY'RE LITTLE INVISIBLE HAIRS THAT ARE THERE TO KEEP YOUR LIP WARM DON'T TOUCH THEM."
And he's right. For God's sakes we are mammals.
So I googled all concerned about the subject and found in a bunch of forums girls as young as 9 years old saying that they want to wax their brows and tweeze their upper lips.
My goodness. Where does this stop.
9 years old? I've never seen a 9 year old with a mustache. OR A NEED OF BROW TWEEZING. You're still a baby!
I really think that our obsession with hairlessness is getting wacky. Look back at the 1980's. Half the ladies had beastly eyebrows. And a couple 'staches too. I want to know where all this stems from? Media? Saying this is how a woman should look completely hairless and bald except for brows and head?
I mean I won't lie, not like I'm a natural woman. I dye my hair AND brows and shape them. As well as pretty much shaving everything else. I just wonder why sometimes.
At work all day I was inspecting other girls. Everyone's different but beautiful all the same, with fuzz or without fuzz. (I won't comment on granny mustaches because face it, we're all gonna get old and have a mustache eventually lollll. But why fuss now.)
I don't know really. This is my random rant.
Do you tweeze? Do you not? Do you feel subconscious yourself? I could use input because I feel like it's just me driving myself up a wall about appearance.
It's like I fix one thing (my weight) and then I find another to nit pick about. XD

I've been trying to find this story for a while now,hopefully someone can help me on this site.I don't remember a lot of the story but a few things stuck out when I read it before,Its a Harry/Severus pairing,Severus is pregnant,Harry doesn't want it at first,Sirius said something about using a curse on him,and the Weaslys got really upset because Molly lost a baby when that curse was used on her.

Allright, this is going to be one of those random requests where I ask for something along the lines of 'ummmm, one time, this guy and this guy go somewhere and do something', sound familiar?
LOL, Okay - The only scene I remember from this fic is that Harry is ill and Draco is watching over him/caring for him? He (Draco) determines that a potion has been put into Harry's water designed to weaken him/drain him of his magic?
It's set in Hogwarts, (at least I think this bit of it is), and I can't remember if the 'let's posion Harry' bit is a plan of Voldemort's or if Dumbledore is bad and Harry's being posioned by the Griffindors. I think Ron was in on it/knew about the potion.
It may have been one of those pesky Harry-and-Draco-end-up-in-a-Bond-fic :-) b/c I don't remember Draco being all that happy about watching over Harry.
Sorry for the vague(ness)... but I know you guys rock!

I think the fic was on HPFandom.net, but I'm not sure,
- Hogwarts was a private boarding school
- Harry was hired to be an Art teacher/Futbol [Soccer] coach
- Draco, Ron, Hermione etc. were all students
- It's Draco/Harry
- Harry is friends with Snape
- Harry was a university futbol player, but had to stop because of an injury - he always wears pants because of the scar
- It was unfinished, and abandoned, I think

Hello lovely people!
So a little while ago, I ended up with a second copy of the wonderful 'Battle' deluxe Boxset and uhmmed and ahhed about what to do with it but as I look towards next year and the few shows that I'm going to, I realise that I need money more than I need a second copy of the boxset.
The boxset is in perfect condition - never been played, the cd's/dvd's/vinyls have never been removed - the only thing that I did was remove the plastic wrap to check for possible Golden tickets - which of course, there weren't any!
So yeah, it's all safe and secure inside the cardboard it was shipped to me in and just waiting for a new home. So if you or someone you know is in the market for one - either comment me here, email me ( bellapie@gmail.com ) or drop me a line on AIM at No More Forlorn .
I'm asking here before I take it to ebay as I'd much rather a fellow 'whore have the goodies!

My car is practically eating my pay check with everything I've been having to replace.
I got new glasses from the Vision Center in Walmart as well as an exam. Never had problems with them before.
Granted, there's a different doctor there than when I had my last eye exam.
1)Eye Glasses bitch talked me into getting Anti-Reflective Coating even though I was kind of against it because of experiences with it in the past. OH HAY GUESS WHAT I STILL HATE IT. So I took my glasses back, and after much getting blown off by them and then going back and harassing them again and again, and they made me new lenses without the coating. I hated the coating It made my glasses do horrible things with light, and my eyes, OH GOSH. and they're IMPOSSIBLE to keep clean with it they scratch like a bitch, and I am a messy dirty clumsy person.
2) I got the new lenses. Something still seems OFF. When I'm in Walmart and reading far away signs, or even close signs, any kind of words...are unfocused. Blurry, almost doubley vision. I've worn glasses since the 1st grade and never had this problem. I had the weird too strong effect of glasses when I would first get them, but not lasting like this.
So I go into the place and I can see they're not happy to see me AGAIN.
I tell them what's up, so the re-examine my eyes to check the prescription. This time it was slightly less strong than the first, and they agreed to order me the new lenses. FUCK. THESE BETTER WORK BETTER.
I'm so frustrated with them, and glasses and FUCCCCK. I just want to see clearly is all. :(
So not going to them again. Their eye exam is a joke. Lolll. And being that my eyes are so incredibly bad, I should probably be going to a real, decent optometrist anyway. Lesson learned okay. Just get me glasses that don't make me feel like my eyes are gonna cross.
